Paralegal – Private Equity Investment Firm (Temporary Contract)

Accuflex is currently recruiting on behalf of a London-based private equity investment management firm for a temporary Paralegal to support the General Counsel on a time-critical legal project.
This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with experience in private equity, investment funds, asset management or banking and finance to gain exposure within a highly regarded investment management business.
The Role
Working closely with the General Counsel, you will assist with the implementation of a significant legal project involving the preparation, coordination and execution of legal documentation.
Responsibilities are expected to include:
Coordinating legal documentation and document packs.
Managing the execution process and maintaining completion trackers.
Liaising with internal stakeholders and external advisers.
Reviewing completed documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Supporting the General Counsel with the successful delivery of the project.
Assisting with general legal and administrative tasks as required.
About You
We are keen to hear from candidates who have:
Previous exposure to private funds, fund structures, carried interest arrangements and Limited Partnership Agreements is essential. Candidates do not need extensive experience in these areas but should have a sound understanding of the fundamentals.
Experience within private equity, private funds or investment management would be highly advantageous.
Excellent organisational and project management skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive, professional and collaborative approach.
The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Additional Information
Full-time position.
Office-based in London, working closely with a small in-house legal team.
Initial contract of approximately 4–6 weeks, with the possibility of extension depending on business requirements.
