Accuflex is delighted to be working with a major international law firm to offer an exciting opportunity within a client-facing Legal Operations team. This is a fantastic role for a legally qualified professional with strong Legal Operations and/or Project Management experience to contribute to high-impact projects for one of the firm’s global clients.
The successful candidate will be employed directly by the law firm on a fixed-term contract, while working day-to-day within the client’s in-house team, offering the stability and support of a top international firm combined with the experience of partnering closely with a leading global brand.
Job Title: Legal Business Operations Consultant
Location: Central London (full-time on-site)
Contract: 6 months fixed-term contract (potential to extend)
Start date: October / November 2025
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Legal Operations Manager with the rollout of key global agreements across multiple regions, including EMEA and APAC.
- Manage the implementation process, including maintaining trackers, updating guidance materials, and carrying out jurisdictional research to ensure compliance.
- Process contracts using internal systems and liaise with relevant teams on workflows.
- Assist with EMEA panel management and support relationship-building initiatives.
- Revamp and maintain internal hub sites, including creating and monitoring databases (Microsoft and Google Suites).
- Develop playbooks, process flows, and visualisations for internal processes and wider dissemination.
- Provide reporting and management information for leadership.
- Support the regional Legal Operations team with ad hoc projects.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Legally qualified in the UK (preferred) or other European legal qualifications.
- Experience with commercial contracts and strong knowledge of EMEA and APAC laws.
- Prior in-house or law firm experience necessary.
- Strong Legal Operations or Project Management background required.
- Advanced user of Google Suite, Microsoft Excel and knowledge of SharePoint required.
- Familiarity with legal management software such as Legal Tracker.
- Prior experience with metric-driven processes and technology improvements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- A qualified lawyer (NQ or above) who has transitioned into Legal Operations or Project Management, or is motivated to do so.
- Holds a current practising certificate.
- Familiarity with working in global environments, including US-based companies.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and able to manage multiple stakeholders across regions.
