About the firm:
A leading legal advisory firm, specialising in providing comprehensive employment law services and strategic advice to multinational corporations. The practice offers expert counsel across international jurisdictions with a focus on Europe and Asia. The team excels in managing high-stakes employee disputes, strategic project work such as market entry, large scale employee movements and multi-jurisdictional restructuring projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. International employment counsel for multinational and domestic clients across various sectors, including technology, creative industries, sports, and financial services.
2. Provide strategic advice on international expansion, market entry, post-termination restrictions, and holistic retention strategies.
3. Handle board disputes, complex exits, business immigration, and cross-border restructuring projects.
4. Address sensitive grievance, disciplinary, and performance management issues.
5. Engage in employment litigation (High Court and Employment Tribunal).
Required Experience:
1. English qualified solicitor with at least 3 years Post Qualification Experience (PQE) in employment law.
2. Proven track record in multinational employment law, with specific knowledge of employment laws in Europe and/or Asia.
3. Ability to manage sensitive reputational and commercial issues effectively.
4. Strategic thinker with a creative and robust approach to legal challenges.
5. Excellent communication skills, with an engaging personality.
6. Confident and open-minded, willing to dive into the intricacies of international employment law.
