Data Protection Paralegal – Warrington

Accuflex is seeking a Data Protection Paralegal to support the legal team of a major UK organisation on an initial three-month assignment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with practical data protection experience, particularly in relation to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), to gain further in-house experience.

Key Responsibilities

The role is expected to include:

• Supporting the management of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs);

• Reviewing documents and information to identify relevant personal data;

• Assisting with redactions and preparation of DSAR responses;

• Supporting the wider legal and data protection team with privacy-related matters;

• Managing administrative aspects of DSAR responses, including printing and correspondence where required;

• Helping ensure requests are handled accurately and within applicable deadlines.

About You

We would be interested in hearing from candidates who:

• Have previous experience working on DSARs;

• Have some practical exposure to data protection or privacy matters;

• Have strong attention to detail and organisational skills;

• Are comfortable reviewing potentially significant volumes of documentation;

• Can manage competing deadlines and work independently;

• Are comfortable working in a hybrid environment.

Previous in-house, regulatory, public sector or legal services experience would be beneficial.

Assignment Details

• Location: Warrington

• Working arrangement: Hybrid, ideally 2–3 days per week in the Warrington office

• Duration: Initially approximately 3 months

• Start date: As soon as possible (candidates with up to one month's notice period can be considered)

• Working pattern: Full-time
