Legal Counsel

Accuflex has a great opportunity for a talented and motivated Solicitor (NQ up to 2 years PQE) with experience in commercial contracts to join our client, a dynamic financial services organisation based in Central London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a lean and fast-paced in-house legal team, contributing significantly to the business as a key advisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Lead the review and negotiation of standard brokerage services agreements, manage client mark-ups, and work with alternate templates to support business needs.
- Post-Contract Support: Handle post-execution matters such as onboarding obligations and restrictive covenant issues.
- Recruitment Support: Advise on legal aspects of broker recruitment, including reviewing non-compete clauses.
- Employment Documentation: Support the preparation of employment contracts for international hires (e.g., in Dubai, Singapore, Geneva), with assistance from group legal where required.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business leaders, including the CEO’s office, providing pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice.
- Efficiency & Training: Help optimise the contracting process and deliver informal training to onboarding teams on recurring legal issues.
Required Experience:
Qualified Solicitor (NQ–2 PQE) with experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation.
Ability to manage legal workflows independently and efficiently.
Exposure to employment law or international HR matters is advantageous.
Strong commercial awareness and confidence in engaging directly with business stakeholders.
Proactive and collaborative approach within a small legal team.
