Accuflex has an opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel with financial regulatory and compliance experience to work for our client, a leading blockchain technology solutions provider on a contract basis. 

The company develops innovative solutions in banking, gaming and crypto currency. The role will be on a contract basis for 6 months initially and will be based in the office in London.

Responsibilities

  • Regulatory and Compliance advice. Supporting the business with regulatory and compliance advice related to its activities in financial services, gaming and crypto currency.
  • Research and review. Be aware of legal trends and regulatory requirements to continually support the development of a mature legal framework.
  • Legal and contractual risk management. Identify, control and report on material legal and commercial risks.
  • Advice and support. Provide advice and support to colleagues relating to commercial and legal matters.
  • Project work. Support both internal and external projects, providing legal guidance, supporting the achievement of each project’s objectives.


Qualifications & Experience

  • A UK qualified solicitor with demonstrable post qualification experience.
  • An understanding of the legal risks and compliance processes related to financial services, gaming and crypto currencies.
  • A pragmatic and commercial approach to tackling issues to help business units achieve their objectives and manage risks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Genuinely pro-active and keen to take on responsibility.
  • Strong organisational skills.
